Wii in a suitcase !
My folks are arriving a week before Christmas and as Amazon are a good bit cheaper for a Wii, we were hoping they would bring it in their case. So are there any restrictions by bringing it in a suitcase eg; is it allowed, if still in bow would tax apply. thx in advance

My son carried his PS2 in his hand luggage with no probs.
Not sure where you would stand tax wise though on a brand new one.

Re: Wii in a suitcase !
Nearly related query, no point starting new thread, I've seen a Wii game I'd like to bring as pressie for my nephew, cheaper here in Oz than in Ireland, so my question is:
Are games for the Wii regional (as like DVD players are/we) or do they play on consoles regardless of location?
Thanks guys.

Ive got an Aussie Wii and order games from the UK all the time. They work fine. Much cheaper in the UK. Tho i've heard you can't trade them in at games shops here. Not tried so not sure if that's true

Re: Wii in a suitcase !
Wii's in UK and Aus are the PAL version, so there should be no problem with compatability. We bought a Wii in the UK and buy games over here, should not be a problem. If in doubt check the Wii is a PAL one and then check the games.
