christ.....sounds like a few nightmares going on down that way.... bad lawyers, property etc.. maybe u can explain some of the bad experiences and offer advice about, and even recommend good lawyers...

I see that dubai has plenty of property still being advertised. Is purchasing property a reasonably straight forward process (and not being a resident), and are there any complications when selling.
