We leave Heathrow on the 6th with Singapore, stopover there, then onto Sydney for 5 days then upto Brisbane, cant wait. Frantically packing at the mo for the removal men are arriving Wednesday.:D ...

I do relate to those dreaded phone calls:D. We will be diving straight in, just one night stopover in Singapore, 4 nights in Sydney, then fly up to Brisbane and by all accounts Simon will start work...

Yes we did exactly the same as you, stayed close to the UK to be nearer Friends and family! Nevermind, we have no regrets and it's probably made it easier for us to make the move...

Hi, we are going to QLD on the same visa and were told we do not have to pay the government school fees, obviously if they are going to private school then yes you will pay.

My husband has been offered a job and they will be applying for a 457 visa for him and have said if its not ready on time they will apply for a bridging visa so he can start work, I have never heard...
