I never regretted a single electrical item that I brought with me. Many are still going strong 9 years (plus!) later.

Printers here are cheap as chips - I just bought a mono laser for under $200 and the cartridge is around $100. FAR less expense and hassle than an inkjet.

I did this with a 5 month old, a 2 year old and a 4 year old. Not fun tbh. However, these things made it easier.

Book a night flight - the first leg will be easier because they're all excited...

My daughter was just a 6 month old when we arrived, so we continued to vaccinate as per the "red book". The vaccinations were free.

As for children seeing a doctor, until they're 6 it's free,...

Tip: The further away from the CBD, the cheaper the dentist... my dentist in Massey charged just $40 to reglue my crown and around $150 for a filling.
