Train Driver/Locomotive Opportunities in OZ

My hubby is a qualified aircraft engineer and also a qualified train driver/instructor driver, I work in HR both in the UK. Any advice for opportunities/vacancies in Oz would be appreciated.

We are sort of in the process of sorting the visa, husband's been offered a position with Qantas which is based in Richmond - which i know is quite a while from Sydney and apparently v cold in Winter...

Yes think we have enough points, but apparently if u go over as TR and then apply for PR through company sponsorship it's done a different way, not on a point scoring system as it is if you apply...

Well husbuand applied for a job, and the company are sorting a temporary visa out for him - also a couple of other boys from where he works here managaed to get the jobs too - subject to the visa...
