Kelmscott/Armadale is beautiful yet affordable.

The area also has several good government schools at both primary and high school level that allow kids an amazing diversity of opportunities.

Excellent spot if you like fairly calm water and access to shops from the beach is good.

To the North the skyline is a little spoiled by refineries etc.

I would do your homework regards choice...

In WA (The nicest climate in Aus IMHO) we seem to have a shortage of good regular year 8 - 10 general science teachers, but year 11 and 12...

I have lived in the Armadale / Kelmscott area since 1988 and have no inclination to move.

I love the hills, access to the city and beaches doesn't take long.

In most states (I think all states) you have to be four year trained for High School or Primary. That means a four year teaching degree, or a 3 year degree plus a 1 year Grad dip Ed.

I love Jarrahdale, Serpentine, Pinjarra, Mundijong,

Perhaps check out some of the adjoining suburbs, Armadale, Kelmscott, Byford, Martin, Oakford .. etc. etc.
