I'm on MM2H and have been completing MDAC. After reading these posts it might be that I do not need to do that.

Can anyone confirm that they have entered Malaysia under MM2H without an MDAC ?

I used an agent to do the transfer for me and what they asked from me was my old passport, my new passport, a copy of my MM2H approval letter and a passport photo of myself on blue background....

Sorry to be clear my existing passport had expired and I transferred the remaining 6 years of the MM2H pass into a new passport at a total cost of RM540.

I did a renewal last week. Was charged RM90 for each year that was left on the MM2H pass, so while there may be talk of increasing the fee it hasn't happened yet.

Thanks Wired Tight. I was at front of plane and the whole process was well organised at the Malaysian end. Was through the health checks, customs within 15 minutes and they arranged transport home...

Thanks for the suggestion. I went to via an insurance agent and they did insurance plus the road tax ..... locals to locals talking. Cost me a little bit extra but on the road with no hassles..
