The Canterbury region all day long. I have lived in the North Island in Hawkes Bay and for many years in Dunedin but in my opinion neither come even close to Canterbury.

No we are now in Christchurch.
Yes Christchurch does have the odd beggar and has some graffiti but I would rather be here than in Melbourne.
