Hi

You are not required to pay school fees when on a 457 in Melbourne, if child attending state school, however you will be asked for money towards books etc usually about $200 at primary school...

About 1and a half hours by road down the Nepean Highway or alternatively down the beach road, which is slightly slower but much prettier.

About 25/26, I think, it is quite a large primary, certainly bigger than our old school in UK.
