I'm getting advice from other forums for my USC husband to contact his representative to poke USCIS on our behalf.. but I'm not sure if this is going to help....

Update but not really: Officially hit the 9 month mark and haven't heard anything back from USCIS yet. They are working on Sept 5 cases now according to their own website. I sent a case inquiry on...

They only need documentary evidence if your current name is different from the name provided in additional evidence (i.e. passport copies, etc.). It seems OP will not have this issue as their name...
