Name Change in UK Passport
Hello everyone, hope you've all had a lovely holiday season and new year!
A quick question about officially changing my name to add my husband's surname: will changing my name on my UK passport right now cause confusion in the visa process as the I-130 that we filed in August for an eventual CR-1 has my maiden name? Should I wait till I have to fill in my DS-260 or even the interview to request the name change?
I would really like to have my future documents, green card, etc. in my married name.

You can change it now. It won't affect anything.

Changing it at the earliest opportunity would be best. As Rene says, it won’t affect the pricess if you do it now.
