Recommend Pet Transporter
Hi All,
My husband, son, cat and I will be moving to the greater Dallas area from Hampshire in the next few months.
Is is anyone able to please recommend a professional pet transporter that they have used personally?
TIA

Can't you drive?
That's what I would do.
Or travel with cat onboard.
There's no guarantees with airlines.
It's such a short trip. Why the question?

I was presuming they meant the original Hampshire.
We just used Virgin Cargo when we moved over - picked her (cat) up from Delta's Cargo centre when we arrived after going to an office just off the airport to sign paperwork to get the cat released.
If I have the location wrong, ignore me.

The airlines seem to have fluctuating requirements for pet transport, some will some won't, some used to, some do now, but didn't. All VERY confusing.
Work out a route to get here, look at the airlines, and then look at their requirements.
Our two, Smokey and sadly departed Rocky were shipped out with Mrs Q when she flew over here soon after I arrived. We did the process ourselves.

Wouldn't you just stick a cat under the seat in front? Maybe even splurge for first class?

I don't know if could trust to have Felix in the hold. He's 20 and would freak out.
He pretended he was dying last year and we thought we would be free but he was just scamming us.
We continue to serve him...

Some really helpful replies here for the OP
We moved our dog with Pet Air UK - very professional. Not the cheapest, but if you want good service and have someone else worry about the process, then they do a great job.
Good luck
