Re: Is this the last stage?

Congrats on your PPR. It not the final phase as you've not been issued with the COPR's yet (but the worry part is over). Read the letter that you have received carefully as British Citizens are...

Re: PPR finally!

Hi Crofty,

Thanks. I'm glad mine did not take as long as yours!

I managed to email the London Visa Office without it bouncing back.

PPR finally!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone on the forum who has helped me over the past year or two. The information on the forum has been invaluable! I finally got the PPR email last week and...

Smile Re: ECA help

I think total was 3 months from start to finish. Once the application got started it didn't really take too long.

When I was going through the WES application for the other half they mentioned...

Re: ECA help

I rang them once after a few months but vaguely remember when to check up on the application progress. They were running around a month and a half late then so they would only start processing your...

Re: ECA help

IQAS is not bad. They are slow compared to the other providers but were pretty quick for me last year when I used them to assess the other half's degree.

Re: Post PPR - Waiting for COPR time?

I'm still going through the process (Express Entry) so the MOD's or Crofty82 would be best placed to answer your questions.

My advice would be to follow what Crofty82 has done and just wait a...

Re: Post PPR - Waiting for COPR time?

Crofty82 answered this the other month. I've saved it as a pdf attached to my reply.

Re: Express Entry - points & location

Yes, I've been following the EE pool for a while now. The scores have gone up I think due to the amount of people in the pool (see link below). It currently stands at over 100k with the top few...

Whats your current CRS score?

You can find out through: Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) tool: skilled immigrants (Express Entry) (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp)

Re: Doing landing trip paperwork at night

Thanks DG,

I'm thinking of using them for landing once my application is finalised. I've used BA and KLM in the past but prefer a direct route if possible.

Re: Doing landing trip paperwork at night

I'm thinking of using them also as they have a straight flight to Vancouver from Manchester. Let me know how the flight is.

Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London

I think the "amendments" refers to any name changes in the passport.

My wife had an indian passport before she was naturalised in the UK. Her passport had her maiden name and to amend it the...

eTA's have been delayed according to this latest tweet by IRCC. It might be why you are facing issues.

Re: Government cracking down on unethical immigration consultants

I got quoted 50k for an EE application from quite a large firm plying its trade in Abbotsford and Surrey, BC. I will be contacting IRCC once I'm there!

As others have mentioned the use of a lawyer or consultant is time-consuming.

I myself, used a consultant as I did not have the time then in dealing with the application (so I thought!) so, paid a...

Re: Passport Request E-Mail Received - thank you expats

That's great! The roller coaster is finally nearing the end!

Just a quick question, how long did it take from sending the requested documents to receiving your COPR? 20 days roughly?

Re: COPR LETTER

I would go by the date on the letter it tells you to land by.

I'm no expert on the matter but if it's in black and white then it's fairly simple.

Re: VoIP recommendations for Canadian number?

I'm using the 'TextNow' app. You can get it for iOS or Android. It's free to use and gives you local number USA or Canada.

Re: Is anyone else having a hard time before even creating an Express Entry prof

I think it mentions the test centre so, ring the test centre where you took your last test or where your planning on doing it.
