Just a shame not a lot can be done about the grifters who ply their trade from abroad.

I got quoted 50k for an EE application from quite a large firm plying its trade in Abbotsford and Surrey, BC. I will be contacting IRCC once I'm there!

This is good news, but will probably come a bit too late for me. I'm dealing with an Immigration Consultant who seems very above-board, has the usual certification and seems to have written a few newspaper articles on Canadian Immigration options. But I'm now at the stage of handing over $4k for her to handle some paperwork that I'm not familiar with, and I'm nervous because I've not seen her name mentioned on any discussion boards (which could be good news!). Has anyone by chance dealt with Louise Willis who appears to run https://www.canadianvisaspecialists.com ?

Always check any Immigration Consultant you are considering using on the ICCRC website - just because they have the emblem or say they are registered - doesn't mean they are registered.
