Is the rule of thumb then? Once you turn 55 you can access your UK pensions funds? Is this only for private funds as I contracted out of SERPS way back in the day?

Optus are supremely shite as a mobile phone network operator. I've had (and still have) nothing but trouble using them (via Virgin mobile).

I'm off to Telstra this year, when my contract runs out...
