Yes turkeys from cold storage are good, although the one at Putrajaya isn't very good. No non-halal section but partly due to the fact it's a big muslim area. A bit expensive but that's how it goes....

you get your bags scanned when leaving Langkawi so trying to bring back more than your duty free allowance isn't worth it. The guys on the airport scanners were keen as well!

I agree that supermarket shopping here is generally slightly more expensive than in the UK, me also being from the UK as well.
As some of the stuff we're reliant on are imports then yes you pay...

I think you need to decide what school your kids will go to and then perhaps work out where to live. As you don't mind the commute to work then it shouldn't be an issue, and as far as I'm aware dogs...

I wouldn't even contemplate using public transport (buses) for the school runs, perhaps you could use a regular taxi service for it, or hire a driver to do it for you or there is the school bus...

I've never paid 80 MYR for a consultation, and I have seen two different GPs in the last few weeks or so, compared to the UK I find the service here a lot better, albeit you have to pay for it but...

Thanks LivKL, Ish have sent me a price list and yes I agree that a cut and blow dry seems quite reasonable but the colours and highlights are on the very steep side, certainly a lot more expensive...
