not sure yet... still looking, maybe out in Atascocita/Humble/Kingwood. Dont really want to be in the City too much. We checked out Cinco Ranch as well and we quite liked it.

Is there anything more confusing than the US tax system? Im still trying to work out if I need to pay tax on my income this year, and I have been researching for weeks!

We currently live in Dallas, but we are moving down to Houston in May. You will find loads of expats in Houston, there are plenty on this board. Where in Houston are you?

ESTA & Advance Parole

I will be travelling on my AP card next month, however I just got an email reminding me that my ESTA will expire in 30days. do I need to renew it? or does the card cover me?

I was told that they cancelled everybody's interview on this day..... I wonder what happened to cause that? I guess maybe thats why they managed to rebook it so quickly. This was the Dallas office

I got my EAD card in production notice yesterday, wonder if I will have it before my GC interview?:p

Its irrelevant in my case anyway as I do not intend to apply for any jobs here in the near...

San Diego is a nice city, my company (Solar Turbines) has its HQ there right by the airport.

If you go to a bar called the Tilted Kilt down by the ballpark, they have Tennents on tap:p

Ive had secondary inspection a few times, if you are honest with them it is really not that big a deal (in my experience). I had one officer (a supervisor) question me pretty hard once, but never had...

I had this happen to me last year flying AMS to DFW, we boarded the aircraft and pulled away from the terminal, then got told it would be 2.5hrs before we could leave. We sat in the plane for 3hrs......
