I'm sure I've read quite recently that the processing time for the 864 is very short now- only around 5 months.

there is a cheaper parent visa option open at the moment- but maybe not for long -- & the grant time is long too, but can be waited for onshore if over 65. How long has the daughter been in Aus? ...

just on that last point- I think the system's pretty generous in terms of Tax Credits for instance, especially if raising children...are you aware of them? or are other countries even more generous?

If it helps...I just bought a Cossato lie-flat from birth in Argos sale for less than £70 :D so hardly worth the cost of hiring a bigger car when they're this cheap !

I'm only familiar with maximum security MH NSW, but there are never enough staff in these settings & tons of work- can't imagine similar settings in other states would be much different- so at least...
