Re: Small plumbing problem....help please.

Is the water hot or cold? There are 2 expansion valves. The cold is rated at a lower pressure than the hot.

Re: WA V QLD

Sorry, but I don't understand the "isolation" thing.

We live in a BIG city. If we want to go somewhere, we do the same as most people in the world do.....we get on a plane a go there.

We're...

Re: WA V QLD

Hi Kips

Sorry if it sounded like I was "having a go" at Rockingham area. I wasn't.

For me, it is just too far away from the CBD, just the same as Butler, or Yanchep.

That's all!!

Re: WA V QLD

Good Luck Paula

Personally, i would not want to live in Bunbury, or Rockingham area. The houses are reasonabally priced in comparison to Perth suburbs, but you have to ask yourself why??

If you...

Re: WA V QLD

When it rains in Perth, it's intermittent, it'll rain for 15 min's then stop, then start again, etc, etc and we are very glad to see it coz we really need it.

In QLD, last time we were there we...

Re: Could you, would you, should you?! Moving to Aus with only £4.5k

Good mates of ours did it 3 years ago with only 700 quid, but they're mucking fental.

We left UK in 96 with 2 grand, and it was HARD.

If you are confident, and you REALLY want to do...

I like Durty Nelly's. There's a cracking Japanese food place right opposite. Cheap as, and really tasty food.

Re: Perth is uptight, stuffy, dull and boring

Well I'm pushing 50 and a bit of a nob too, but Sovereign is a bit too "trendy" for my liking. Paddy's is more like a proper pub. Don't know where strippers are mate, sorry. I'm happily married and...

Re: How long did it take you to settle in Oz?

It wouldn't bother me if I never went back to UK ever again, BUT, when we do go back, it is always very unsettling.

There should be a "like" button on here just like Facebook has, as there are some excellent posts.
