Yes it is stupid but i would definitely invest the time in getting a state id card/driver's license, it does make life much simpler in the end.

I have a PS2 and never use it - I pretty much exclusively play Quake 4 online, lots more fun playing against other people imo

You definately need a system that can handle it though.

Only time I ever carry my green card is when I travel out of the country, usually UK, though I did forget it once when I went there - Expensive mistake!

Kinda depends what you like doing really, could always check out Sedona and Jerome en-route. But I would say the answer is yes. Is there enough to do in Flagstaff if you live here year round, now...
