New expat in Tucson
Hello everyone,
Last month some of you helped me out to find a decent moving company for my stuff as I moved from Sunderland to Tucson.... well I'm finally here and so far so good. I'd be interested to hear if there are any other Brits here in Tucson. Most locals look at me as if I'm from Mars when I open my mouth and then quizzically enquire "you're not American, are you?" before proudly declaring that I'm Australian.
So if there are any Brits here who would like to swap stories about where to get the best tea in Tucson, and to pass on stories about failed attempts at irony, please get in touch

You would have tons of Brits to get together with in the Phoenix area, Tucson I'm not as sure although I know that you are definately not the only Brit in that neck of the woods. Hope that you like where you're located but as already asked, why Tucson? Was it for work?

I've only been down to Tucson once since arriving in AZ, but I liked what I saw. I have a bunch of UA grads in the family, so they get down there often for games and my brother in law rode the "Tour De Tucson" a few weekends back.

So far as best tea in Tucson that would probably be the Tudor Rose Tearoom - here: http://hometown.aol.com/troomuk/ It's a quirky little place but we usually enjoy a visit when there.
I am pretty sure that I have noticed at least a couple of people posting here from Tucson.
Enjoy, you will love it there
