the key is the gift option. if i remember correctly it did double the amount allowed before being taxable from £18 to £36... not too sure on the actual limit these days...

If using DCF in London they wont give you an interview date until after the medical...

The medical costs upwards of £260+ last time i checked depends on your vaccination history...

the power cord was still a UK one. We did use it for other items at the time. For any future electrical items will defiantly be buying them from costco.

i bought a powerbright 2000w step up/down transformer over on amazon for under $80 couple of months back, and with using it for the laptop you can hear it, although its a soft hum.

how long is a I-130 valid for through DCF in London?

The I-130 form was sent off last June, and we recieved a file date of mid june and a petition / approval date of mid september. I have since had my medical in feb this year, and then also sent back...

DS 2001
DS-230 Part I (pages 1-2)

and then DS-230 Part II (pages 3-4) are brought along to the interview.
