Re: Living in France as Foreign Nationals in the Future ?

I am hoping that the smoke will clear in a while too, it makes sense for us all to play nicely, and I really hope we can. I just had a wake up call as my son has been offered...

Re: Living in France as Foreign Nationals in the Future ?

Greatly appreciated.

I am British, my husband is Canadian, our son was born in France, where we lived for many years.

We left France in 2012, and moved to Canada, as we wanted our son to go into the Canadian Seconary...

Re: Heat pumps

We had ours installed a year ago and it is ‘bloody brilliant’. We have one in our basement and one on our main floor. For the top floor they aren’t practical because they are enclosed bedrooms, so my...

Re: Nice places to live with a family in New Brunswick.

Don't blame your husband in the slightest...somedays there is no place like home!

We do have two "Saint J's" here...we have Saint John NB and also St. John's NS...neither too far apart, by...

Re: Chase Buchanan Wealth Management

As another Joe Blowess off the Street, I too would echo Siouxsie's caution...how did they even know about who you are and what you might be wishing to do? Somewhat worrisome...

Re: Nice places to live with a family in New Brunswick.

It is. But if I were to do this adventure again I would favour Moncton. It isn’t pretty...the chocolate river is frankly horrid, but it is much more entrepreneurial in spirit and you have access to...

Re: Moving back home but 18 year old refusing .

Reading through this, and I must say what an interesting and enlightening thread...I was struck by the fact that a lot of both the OP's general unhappiness and her daughter's have a very "world going...

Re: The Four months of not winter - 2020

We are nearly at the end of December and it’s been amazing! No snow, or not the usual 25 cms we’d be under by now! Last year (how sad does this sound) I asked for a new snowblower for this...

Re: Goggle box- anything worth watching on TV?

I watched the first two episodes but then gave up...Jane Austin must have been turning in her grave...I enjoyed Sanditon...much the same, great scenery, super costumes and a nice bit of smut...but...

Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread

I think it would be one of the most boring in the world jobs, but I should have got a short contract job at it! I spent three solid weeks going up and down roads with a voice recorder going saying...

Re: 2020 - movies seen this year

Room 2806 - about Dominique Strauss-Khan really well done, very watchable...we all remember ‘bits’ about it...but this put it into perspective...well. Uncomfortable but importantly viewable.

Re: Ever wonder what people do for a living in the fancy houses?

This is quite disgusting and is frankly shameful. I have at times in my life worked 5 jobs. This horrible man looks in need of a good wash. I worked from an early age, I don't need to qualify my...

Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread

Yes. I used to get quite excited at the sight of a sausage on a stick, as a kid it made me want to sing ‘Happy Birthday’, and as a self conscious teenager (weren’t we all) it made me blush and feel...
