you could alway's open an account with HIFX and then transfer it that way.
Write a cheque from the Uk account and the transfer should cost you nothing.

It's explained in form ni38, do a google on it and you should find it. The contribution rate is in form GL23 - I think it's £2.10 / week.

You can wait up to 6 years, pay it monthly...

I believe tat RR, LR and Disco all have a towing limit of 3.5 Tonnes.

I also believe that this is the limit you can to with a car licence before it becomes a lorry, don't know about the law...
