KK as per the jeep my husband's colleague, who knows a lot about cars, told us not to go for jeeps as apparently the clutch goes very easily and it will cost you and arm and a leg to replace.

Not so lovely if you have little ones our 2 and 3 year old sons were bored out of their brains so we never enjoyed the peaceful experience. We may have to go back in 20 years time lol.

many thanks for your replies, they have been really helpful: my husband went back to his employer and negotiated to get his salary paid in dirhams rather than £.
