I became a USC so I could come and go as I pleased, and so that I wouldn't have to deal with USCIS ever again.

The 'military service' thing.....One of the questions I was asked at the citizenship...

Got married in Copenhagen Denmark
Both moved to US.
Been here 10 years.... USC for 5. :)

Matt, your parents seem to be very controlling.
The good news is, as everyone else has said, you're an adult, you're a LPR, and your parents have no control over your immigration status whatsoever....

We're retired.... every year for 3 months we've been going to sit on a beach somewhere over Winter, usually in SE Asia.

If you select a pay-as-you-go plan and don't want to set up a direct debit, you can simply go to anywhere like Target or Walmart, and buy some top-up credit.
A scratch card with a code, I think...

Whether you're on a B2 or ESTA, the ultimate decision is with the man at the desk when you arrive.
On ESTA, with a UK passport, you're IMHO less likely to draw any extra attention, than if you're on...

The antidepressants I'm taking are a $4 generic at Walmart....there are tons of $4 prescriptions at Walmart and Target....
