Apparently America DOESN'T have talent.
I have never watched the show, but the winner of the 2015 season of America's Got Talent, is ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, an Englishman.
This might not be entirely unconnected with one of the judges (Mel B) also being British.

Re: Apparently America DOESN'T have talent.
It's voted by the public so the judging panel is irrelevant. 3 of the 8 finalists were Brits, all of whom have appeared on British tv in the past, so I guess it's not an amateur talent show anymore. The Proffesional Regurgitator should have won.

There's no reality show that isn't more popular with minor/failed celebrities.
I'm calling it: one year before we have American Celebrities Got Talent*.
*Celebrities only need to be known in America, not be American. Celebrity may not be anything more than vaguely known, related to an actual celebrity in some way without any fame of their own, or was only a celebrity when your parents were bumping uglies.

Speaking after his win, he said: "I never thought it would be like this. I just thought I'd nip over to America, have a go at this talent show, and if it didn't work out then I could come home back to the UK and no one would be any the wiser.
I've never seen the show, but you have to hand it to the guy

On American Idol they introduced a requirement you've got to be a US citizen/LPR because of that Irish girl who ran into trouble.
But yeah, I always think that, America's Got Talent! No it hasn't...

Interesting. I have not watched AGT for several years, but just today saw a show (TV Prog) with Mat Franco who was great. I also saw a live show of Terry Fator years ago. Both winners, American and well talented! (Magician & Ventriloquist respectively).

Eeeeuuuuwwww....It's very rare that I can't watch anything on the telly....but I couldn't watch that bloke...Didn't understand why everyone was so nuts about a man that swallows things and brings them back up...Gross!!!
Paul Zerdin was good as ventriloquists go...but if a Brit is the best thing in America's Got Talent....I agree with the title..
America really doesn't have talent!! I watched the whole series, and nobody particularly stood out in the finals.
I did like the little nerdy Jewish comedian bloke, though

Re: Apparently America DOESN'T have talent.
Met him about 30 years ago in a pub in Strathaven in the days before his spangly jacket, you would get a show for the price of a pint, at that time he was mostly swallowing change and pool balls, straight off the pub table, 3 or 4 at a time and cough them up in the order you asked for them.

How did a seasoned pro win? I remember seeing him on TV in the late 90s!

Has anyone watched: Best Time Ever! No it isn't.
It's LIVE - now let us show you some pre-recorded stuff with me grinning about it in picture-in-picture.
