I think that its because finding a house with a garden anything over about 50ft is a rarity, so estate agents dont put in garden sizes as people do not expect to get anything more than a postage...

Thanks for that. One thing I would say to anyone is that if you have a partner you need a really strong relationship because imoving abroad must be one of the most stressful things to do!
