From what i gather you have to now apply to energy safe, then do a course at local college over two weeks, then apply to energy safe once again for license which (dont quote me) can take up...

No you wont be able to apply until you have the visa in your hand. Vet cert will take about 2 to 3 weeks to reach you

Yeah dont lie as they will catch you out. But you can only apply through Vetasses as general electrician. You can not get ARTC until you have a valid visa. I have that confirmed via email. UK trades...

Sounds like its the safe isolation and probably something on the power and lighting installation/paper work etc. Feel sorry for you, because i think its just down to the assessor you get...

Have a look at wendys "ARTC and Licensing" at the top of the forum. 3-4 weeks up to exam stage. Alot of people stress that you can not fail with peer

I emailed them last last night about vetassess. I asked themif they would recognise the vetassess trade test and issue relavant certs and also asked if it was possible to go through them...

Check this link. 2 years minimum for no formal training. you have your training and sounds like you have enough experience. As long as you can proof it with things like wage slips...

My assessor told me the vets process was getting phased out cause it just did not work. here s some up dates i found on immi.gov.au :confused:
