In your case the bar, try and engage a Canadian with this as you sup your fifth pint tonight. You know you might get a conversation you can keep iup with.

So in conclusion people need to carry on with their normal lives and not let terrorism interfere.

You shouldn't label people based on their religion or colour.

Elephants are a protected species and need to be preserved like all of Mother Nature's precious gifts.

I'd like to extend a special thank you to Yorkiechef for sending us down this righteous path.

I have some views that I could share immediately, but I'll leave this with you for starters, the WEST makes our countries very attractive to folk from the Middle East and North Africa, why don't we make it less attractive so that they sto coming? How could we do that......

Starters, legislation to ban halal meat, all animals to be slaughtered with the least stress on the animal, no face veils, ****stop building mosques, **** no Islamic schools, no Islamic laws..... Oh, it doesnt suit you? You need these things? Find another country to live in, this is our country and its not changing anymore.

Anymore anybody? Or do we wait for the blood bath?

Looks like the RCMP have the same pro active stance as I sugested earlier. They also grabbed his brother who was not even traveling.

Carlos Larmond, 24, was arrested Friday at Montreal’s Pierre-Elliott Trudeau airport, the RCMP said in a statement. He has been charged with attempting to leave the country to participate in a terrorist activity abroad, as well as participating in the activity of a terrorist group.

Some informed commentary from Salman Rushdie, Ostriches please take note:

The British Indian author Salman Rushdie, who was placed under a fatwa in 1989 following the publication of his book The Satanic Verses, said there had been “a deadly mutation in the middle of Islam”.

“This is not a random mutation… This has been a mutation that a lot of work has been put into. Governments, from the Sunni side the Saudi government, on the Shia side the Iranian government, have been putting fortunes of money into making sure that extremist mullahs are preaching in mosques around the world, and in building and developing schools in which a whole generation is being educated in extremism — and trying to prevent other forms of education.”

By Dr. Tawfik Hamid
"I am a Muslim by faith, a Christian by spirit, a Jew by heart, and above all I am a human being."
Dr. Hamid is an Egyptian scholar and author of the following article.

The world needs more people like him - ones who have the courage to face-up to reality, and not fear those who oppose honesty.

I was born a Muslim and lived all my life as a follower of Islam.
After the barbaric terrorist attacks done by the hands of my fellow Muslims everywhere on this globe, and after the too many violent acts by Islamists in many parts of the world, I feel responsible as a Muslim and as a human being to speak out and tell the truth to protect the world and Muslims as well from a coming catastrophe and war of civilizations.
