Yes, in fact the opposite is true: when the mods call the fundies out, they point to the book and call the mods infidels and threaten them. Because the Koran is the actual word of god, there is no "interpretation" authority, and the fundies can claim the higher moral ground.

How do you know they are innocent ? Oh Yeh innocent till they shoot some one I guess! Think of it more like protecting them from them selves, like a half way house, or they may want to be martyred Yeh ?
As for surveillance, IMO it's too hard to watch these people 100%, so don't even try as they are a risk to the public

Are you OK with shooting the animal in the head because its quick & easy & BTW, can you tell/taste the difference between the two animal meats the way that they're killed
is this just islam that boils your blood, or do you have the same issue with other religious sects?
Edit: ~72.5 miilion peeps were killed in the second world war & not (I'm guessing was) islam involved

I have some views that I could share immediately, but I'll leave this with you for starters, the WEST makes our countries very attractive to folk from the Middle East and North Africa, why don't we make it less attractive so that they stop coming? How could we do that......
Starters, legislation to ban halal meat, all animals to be slaughtered with the least stress on the animal,

no face veils, stop building mosques, no Islamic schools, no Islamic laws..... Oh, it doesn't suit you? You need these things? Find another country to live in, this is our country and its not changing anymore.

First of all, well done for coming back with views of your own. You miss the point here, it could be any country in the west but the whole issue is so difficult to approach that it is unlikely that any government will.

Having lived in the Middle East, yes you can tell the difference. Lamb for example the taste is much more of offal. It is a suggestion, I could say and I am likely to say it is my view. You can hopefully get a response, better that I suggest or perhaps don't you think?
