Fundamentalism - What to do about Islamic....

Oh why let a little thing like the law stop you? Or individual rights to freedom. We could start applying it to other parts of human behaviour we don't like either, and really who needs to decide anyway... The unthinking masses seem good enough apparently..until of course it starts to have an impact on the way they live their life which is the inevitable conclusion.

Shall we have sweep stake on the next Islamic terror attack in Europe. How many days? I say......3 days. Monday. Pretty sick eh? I suspect you couldn't get a bookie to take the bet.

Terrible isn't it. BBC spoke to some young North African Muslims on the news last night, and they were all appalled at the savagery that has taken place. This tragedy is a good chance the moderate majority to start raising their voice and seriously create division between themselves and the fundamentalists. Islam needs to do that. Somehow.
The problem (imo) is that there is no hierachy in Islam to say "this is wrong, you're a heretic, you're going to hell, goodbye". So it really doesn't matter if most muslims think what happened in Paris was wrong, none of them have the power to declare fundies non-muslims and heretical.

Just like you wouldn't be able to get a bookie to take a bet on whether a non terrorist murder will take place in Europe in the next 3 days.
