Fundamentalism - What to do about Islamic....

So you wish to reverse the burden of proof. How does one prove a trip to a location was for non terrorist purposes? Mr. PI, how could you justify hanging around locations with recording equipment is for non terrorist reasons?
Saying you are a PI does not cut it, the same excuse could be used by muslims too.
What crimes have those that are "having an eye kept on them", committed? If they have committed a crime, why have they not been arrested and prosecuted for it already?

It would appear that the perpetrators are no longer alive.

Oh why let a little thing like the law stop you? Or individual rights to freedom. We could start applying it to other parts of human behaviour we don't like either, and really who needs to decide anyway... The unthinking masses seem good enough apparently..until of course it starts to have an impact on the way they live their life which is the inevitable conclusion.
Or do moral rights of terrorists come first. Before the life's of their next victims. They may have killed people, but they were just showing their fredom and right to do so Yeh?

Now don't be silly TT, if the police have 90+ possible terror suspects in Canada under a "carefull watch" which they have, then why not ? If this saves life's is it not worth a try?

Where has anyone said this? I'm beginning to think you have some kind of mental issue that prevents you reading what people actually say as you keep inventing points of view to argue with.

You want to lock up suspects? Suspects who might well be innocent of anything.
You of all people might want to think about why they are under surveillance. You think it might just possibly be to gather evidence so that the actual terrorists can be arrested and innocent people aren't assumed to be guilty by association.

How do you know they are innocent ? Oh Yeh innocent till they shoot some one I guess! Think of it more like protecting them from them selves, like a half way house, or they may want to be martyred Yeh ?
As for surveillance, IMO it's too hard to watch these people 100%, so don't even try as they are a risk to the public

Terrible isn't it. BBC spoke to some young North African Muslims on the news last night, and they were all appalled at the savagery that has taken place. This tragedy is a good chance the moderate majority to start raising their voice and seriously create division between themselves and the fundamentalists. Islam needs to do that. Somehow.

So where does all this leave the Elephants???
