I wouldn't necessarily agree that hanging out alone is more fun. Definitely more prudent in this moment but not more fun, at least not for everyone.
I'd say the weed helps make it matter less that i'm hanging out alone, and have barely done anything in the last 6 months. Never used to smoke regularly before this but I do now.

Since it is one of the more common symptoms, I try to test my sense of taste frequently, and have put on a few pounds as a result.

About 40 years ago I heard that someone I know used to be an opium addict when he was a teenager, and I asked him what that was like, and he said "I used to spend a lot of time in my room."

Am I the last human on Planet Terra to believe that Cannabis is dangerous ?

I'm voting in AZ next month and legalization is on the ballot - Prop 207. I will be voting in favor. Any downside associated with a potential 'danger' is far outweighed by the societal cost of it being illegal.
I was probably stoned a good deal of the time from age 16 through 22, then got totally bored with it. At 61, I'm in the mood for a rerun!

It can and is abused, you just see about it more per case due to the media, the controversy and when illegal. proportionately more of those at the fringes of society will try it and use it, often they have addictive personalities or other issues meaning no matter what they do, they will do it to the extreme (Hence why plenty of ex drug users become great ultra marathon runners etc, and vice versa why the ultra successful often become the ultra addicted).

On the Isle of Bute a teenage cannabis user was refused further credit to buy cannabis from his regular dealer. He revenged himself on the dealer by abducting, raping and murdering the dealer's 7-year-old daughter. i will say no more.

Far better to have it legalised than relying on dodgy dealers who may have cut it with who knows what.

I also believe he had smoked cannabis from a young age, which comes back to my point about regulation.
Abusers will also abuse a substance whether it be legal or not, likewise those into substance abuse will find another substance if the one they are accustomed to is unavailable. The only people really harmed by prohibition are a) responsible users and b) the taxman (not that I like being taxed, but if a tax on legalised drugs was used to pay to help the problems of those with substance abuse issues - it would get rid of the largely untrue connotations of " wasting my tax money on junkies" comment, but also either improve quality of treatment or free up tax money to be spent elsewhere).
I'm not a user, not that it may or may not be my thing, but I'm currently in a country where it is illegal, if i got caught i would lose my job as well as potentially lose my shot at emigrating.

but that is what some people appear to wish for.
