Got a little gift from a friend this morning; not as strong as the usual kush, but very fragrant and tasty. I do dearly love my friends.

He's one of the good ones, an independent pushing 70 and still riding to boot. It's a good cannabis day all around; the mail came and my ($140) order of edibles and a few grams of toffee shatter that was too cheap to pass on included 4x 20mg gummies and a 1.4g pre-roll spliff of Girl Scout Cookies as freebies.

Edit: I lied. I see Get Kush is on there and I buy pot from them.

There has been movement in the legal market to become more competitive, and I've noticed this sub reddit that reports on what's available, and lots of reviews on recent drops. You might have to look hard to find a comparable price point though.

As I drove from AZ (Scottsdale) to CA (Bay Area) yesterday, I decided to heed one of the many billboards as you pass through the Indio / Palm Springs area ('Coachella' area, perhaps?) and pulled off the freeway in search of a retail store. I found one, less than 5 minutes from the off-ramp. Very helpful lady helped me select a few items to get started with.

I got three tins of 'gummies' - one 'indica', one 'sativa', and one 'hybrid' (20 per tin). I also got a vaporizer device and a half-gram of 'oil' to go with it; a 'hybrid' of indica and sativa, apparently. This should give me something to experiment with! Each item cost about $20, but then there was another $40 in state, local, and 'excise' taxes ... so $140 for the lot. Now that marijuana is also legal in AZ, I will probably risk driving it back into AZ when I head back next year.
As soon as I got home (11pm-ish), I popped one of the 'indica' gummies. Tried to watch a movie but was so relaxed, I drifted off! Had a lovely nights sleep. Tonight I'm going to try the sativa gummy, but a bit earlier!
Question for the experienced folks out there - Just how 'smelly' will the oil / vaporizer device be? If I use it indoors, will it be noticeable to my partner? If I use it outdoors, will the smell drift and be noticeable?

I can't see the small print on the gummies, how many mg of THC is there?
