Re: Cannabis
We have at least one city in BC that doesn't permit retail sales of pot, Richmond next to Vancouver.

Thank God, I've been waiting for this for a while now.

Re: Cannabis
I don’t get why we all are paying for police to close down pot shops when the licensed stores can’t cope with the demand, even when they close these shops down they sell it on tables on the street, either it’s legal or not, let’s use the cops to stop illegal shite not legal stuffs, that’s for the permit dept to sort out

Re: Cannabis
There was an interesting mini documentary on BBC last evening, on the subject of what might be left of the UK legalising cannabis.
It followed three UK MP's on a fact-finding trip to Canada, visiting stores, suppliers, Canadian politicians, and the program dipped its toe into the 'grey area'. Vancouver featured heavily.
Seems like there's a perceived gap in product quality between regulated offerings and 'grey area' offerings.
A work in progress....

Re: Cannabis
If you grow your own plants make sure you really know the rules.....or make sure your garden isn't part of a charity event.

Oh boy, I'd say that's worth fighting in court. They should win, they should be compensated for their plants (not just have worthless dead plants returned to them), and Cst Ling, well, he'll be a laughing stock for awhile, then people will forget. I'd bet $5 on him getting transferred to another detachment within 6 months. The staff sergeant that carried it up to applying for a warrant, and the judge or jp that issued the warrant may need a confidential memo. The RCMP is just coming off a lot of press about millions in sexual harassment settlements and doesn't need this sort of publicity.

Hard to say, maybe a couple of weeks if I go easy (maybe a week, who knows what I'll do?) It's pretty good but not true Indica; the interweb says it's an Indica dominant hybrid of Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies and Sunset Sherbet out of Pink Panties, lol. Reminds me of pedigrees from when I was training dogs.

Normally I look for something like Purple Kush or Bubba Kush for pain and insomnia, but I've been using it less at night recently so this half ounce of head stone vs body stone isn't a big issue. It's actually the first time I've bought pot in the bar in a few years, instead of just buying a pound and vaping the same stuff all year. The difference is $100 for a half oz instead of $90/oz so I'll probably still be looking for something else.

Re: Cannabis
The canned pot seems to create less waste vs some of the others I have seen, maybe all pot should be packaged in such a way.

Re: Cannabis
It's still over the top packaging, just fewer pieces than the government standard. Least wasteful would be bring your own glass jar to fill. It is a nifty memento though.
