Re: Cannabis
As of 2pm BC had 5,600 online orders. The store in Kamloops was at 200 with some products selling out.

Re: Cannabis
I seem to have an over abundace of choices in my neighbourhood.
There are 2 cannabis stores in my local shopping precinct about 1 km from my home.
Yesterday I tried to go grocery shopping at my local Sobeys.
The parking lot was full, with huge line-ups outside both outlets.
Parking available today, but there are still line-ups outside both stores.
Here is a news item about the Nova Cannabis store in the Namao shopping precinct.
The other store in the same shopping precinct is called Fire and Flower Cannabis:

Re: Cannabis
Sorry folks, but got to ask, WGAF???? I for one don''t! For this old foggy, legalising pot, equals " political populist bollocks" at it's worst. That and of course, the potential of revenue for this tax and spend Federal Government.

There was at least 2 stores raided in BC yesterday, both in Port Alberni. RCMP is the police force there.

Re: Cannabis
I saw some people on Wednesday that were definitely making a party out of it. Even though I don't have a prescription I'm using mine to kill pain and I'm so used to it, it's pretty low-key.

Re: Cannabis
Is anybody on this thread taking cannabis as a painkiller? If so, would he or she mind posting the news on the thread? My wife has a prescription for the oil, to fend off pain from her lung-cancer. Whether it is in fact fending off pain or whether she doesn't have any (suppressed) pain, we just don't know, but we naturally credit the stuff for the absence. There are reports of individuals' cancer being actually retarded by The Good Oil. We don't know if that's happening either, because she refuses to get any more biopsies. But, so far, so good. A friend is taking the stuff for her arthritic hands, and it has made a positive difference to her.
