A quick glance through Liberty's press releases shows it's total poppycock.
100% accurate and unbiased source of information on the subject of course?

(yes, plucked the 100% from my backside too)

The claim is that Liberty only supports cases for terrorist or foreigners 99% of the time. It's patently absurd, as a quick reading of their press releases will show you.

Are Michael Black and John Morgan foreigners or terrorists? Are the victims of the Winterbourne View care home foreigners or terrorists? Is Richard O’Dwyer a foreigner or a terrorist? Plainly ridiculous.

I think all those who have sworn oath on the Koran to preserve money for any family member, should be jailed for theft for the UK Government.
In fact all their accounts should be investigated.

Londonderry woman convicted of benefit fraud of £57,000

No mention of a religious excuse, though. But it would seem people with English-sounding names steal more than those with dirty, foreign-sounding ones.

I see your point fat but what I was pointing out "stole £35,000 in benefits while acting under Islamic law by keeping hidden bank account for his children"
If this one of their religious scams, all islamic people on benefits should be investigated.

It's a man blaming his dishonesty on religion. I don't see it's a story at all.....except in the DM where it suits their agenda. More a dog-bites-man than a man-bites-dog story.

So if a Christian says Jesus told him to walk into a school and gun down all those children, we should go and investigate all Christians to ensure they're not also paranoid delusional homicidal maniacs bent on gunning down children?

Of course, it would not be right. But we were talking about benefit fraud, and the cost of us keeping people like Hookie and his gang in luxury, whilst our people go without.

Hook at last heading for Hell? That’s what they call the fearsome jail where the soul-destroying isolation has driven some of America’s toughest prisoners to suicide

Spent eight years & £150,000 of British taxpayers' money fighting extradition
Now housed in Metropolitan Correctional Centre in Manhattan, New York
Alleged terrorist can stare at his 7½ft x 8ft cell's stained breeze-block walls

Being in my favourite Daily Mail, it must be true :starsmile

For years, the Egyptian-born preacher abused the hospitality of the country that gave him a home — quite literally, housing his large family in a smart West London street, and supporting them with state benefits — by attacking its values and calling for its violent overthrow.[/I][/COLOR]

State tourism in turmoil?

12 Oct: Herald. While the first charters are scheduled to arrive in Goa early next week, it appears that international tourists are arriving to much chaos as policies and preparations pertaining to tourism are moving at snail’s pace and key officials transferred or out of station

Yeah! Let's celebrate the inhumanity of US jails with the paper that supported Mussolini, Hitler and Mosley. Anyone fancy a black shirt party?

Next you will be suggesting that we should welcome all these terrorists to the UK and let them get on with whatever they want. Can you not understand how people affected by these thugs feel, my home has been burgled and I know what I would like to do if I could get my hands on the b***ard and I am normally peace loving and non confrontational and non violent. Perhaps you would like to put them in a holiday home and make them really comfortable.

No. I question whether Britain has lost her sovereignty to the US on these and many other extraditions, and I believe that the important reasons for incarceration are incapacitation, rehabilitation and deterrence rather than retribution. I especially deplore sadistic retribution.

Hamza is exclusively a UK citizen. There's no getting round this thorny little fact.

K800 99.9% sure Fat does not live in the Uk, so is not affected by these people who we have to support. There is a difference of supporting poor people but not terrorists and their families.

What about the health and safety issues as well. The electric cables strung across the roads, the workmen who do not have a plug on their electric drills so just stick the wires in the socket and the driving. My sister in law went to Goa once but got so scared travelling that she will not go back.
