I have read that the poor child could have been hidden in a neighbour's connecting loft space.

So our wonderful professional, highly trained police force couldn't be expected to check the adjoining loft space?
Let me guess, their search warrant wouldn't have covered it?
Maybe they were trained in Goa?
...........no, had that been the case they would still be sat on their backsides denying a crime had taken place.

Goa police make very little use of dogs.

Why?

They don't want to be outsmarted

New shack policy likely to rein in malpractices
12 Aug: Herald. The government is likely to enforce stringent regulations on placing deck beds and umbrellas on beaches and will tighten the screws on the malpractices of sub-leasing shacks … Sources in the Tourism Ministry had indicated it is likely that the licences would be for three years…

In this weeks Private Eye on page 39.NHS PLC Special. There is an article on bullying at Swindon Hospital concerning Goan cleaners being asked for bribes by the white supervisors for over-time and cushy cleaning jobs in the hospital. I wonder where they learned this practice from ?

Funnily enough I wrote to my MP a little while ago about foreign aid and today I received a letter from my MP with an enclosure from Alan Duncan MP Minister of State. He says (amongst other things) 'Aid is an important part of our strategic partnership with India and on the 10th Feb012 the Finance Minister of India publicly welcomed the UK aid program' further on he says 'Our aid and expertise is focused on the poorest states and will help them deliver essential health and education programmes and access funds from the central Indian Government.
Despite all his waffle I still do not see why we are pouring large sums of money into India when they can afford to help the poorest themselves and are frittering money away on an unnecessary space program
