Noni; something has been puzzling me for a while, why are so many your posts on the 'today's newspaper thread' about Muslims?? With so much going on in the world, the UK and in India why this UK topic so often? Do you have a special interest in them or Pakistan or Saudi??

Below is a link to a particularly shocking example of an honour killing in North West England.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-15075191

The other thing that there seems to be an alarming number of cases of in North West England - in particular Blackburn, Burnley & Nelson involves English girls (13 or 14+ in terms of age) being 'showered' with attention/gifts by 'older' men - this then seems to lead to the girls being plied with drink & usually drugs before being 'passed around' a group of the 'men's friends' for the purpose of sex.

Whilst the paedophiles featured in the papers tend to be white British males, the 'men' described above tend to appear to be of Pakistani or possibly Bangladeshi origin - who is to blame?

Solely the men involved

The girls involved for being 'stupid'

The parents of the girls involved

Liberalised, promiscuous Western society

The police, for not catching all the perpetrators

The courts for not passing 'heavy deterrent' sentences

A combination of all of the above.

Personally, I'd cut all their bollocks (the paedos & the 'groomers') off without an anaesthetic but then I've always been a bit of a softy at heart.

Regards

H.

I am inclined to agree with you on the punishment you suggest however unfortunately that probably would not stop the groomers as they are in it for the money.

I have read previous reports that many of these very young girls are described as "vulnerable" which tends to mean 'in care', I wonder how much 'care' they are getting, but also the men involved well know who they are targeting. I don't think you can blame the girls, they can be grateful for any attention.

Yes, if the girls have not known the love of a normal family upbringing, then I guess they would respond to the alleged attention/affection, only to later realise the intentions of the bastards with dicks that are involved & what their real motivations are. There are some very deprived areas in East Lancashire, with little or no prospects for the upcoming youth. Having said that, there's no worse a deprived area than South Shore, Blackpool but I don't read about the "grooming activity" against English girls here, why? Because the Pakistanis responsible don't live in Blackpool, they live in Preston.

Sad about the state of society.

& here is worse still, I read this in this morning's times & it made me embarassed to be British. The soldier involved should suffer the same treatment & receive the same level of medical care that the young Afghan boy received:

I have just had a new neighbor move in next to my flat in London.Young Muslim family from Sylhat in Bangladesh. He was born in the UK but his wife was arranged and before any body says how do you know,he told me his parents arranged every thing. She is from Bangladesh.3 kids too.I thought he might be an enlightened westernized Muslim who has discarded all the medieval practices that seem to permeate Islam.Forget it he is scared Sh**less of his parents. To stop people looking in over the yard walls or from windows opposite the rear of his house he has strung up 6 cords running up to his up stairs patio railings so that vines can grow up them to restrict the view into his kitchen window so that his wife can do the washing up without any one seeing her with out the Chad-or on......Every time the daughter goes to school the two brothers have to escort her.If the wife goes shopping its the same. Now this is pure Bu**s**t 100%.Its time people spoke out about these restrictive practices being enforced on women by stupid ignorant men.Islam is a religion created by men for men and women count for
nothing except to create babies, especially male babies. Its time for the old British attitude of live and let live being put straight into the dustbin of history.More people should voice their concerns about whats going around them and point it to them. Most of the honour killings are from Turkish and Kurdish immigrant groups in London with Iraqis joining in the fun too at times. It makes me sick to my back teeth to watch an 8 year old Islamic boy on the tube slagging his mother off because he had to stand up because it was crowded and she was sitting down with her daughter on her knee. Some thing is wrong here and its certainly not me because i have no religion at all.
