But hey, it's their country - just don't make out the foreigners are to blame when they are not.

H.

But anyone not Goan is a foreigner as far as the Goans are concerned and they are not going to blame themselves.

And they are not Russians as the headline indicated they were.

Some will be Goans but I suspect the majority are Indians who originate from outside of Goa but now actually live in Goa & work at a shipyard or at the port of Mormugao.

As I have said many times before - the Indians at the weekends are a disgrace, and it is 99% men, who leave wifey at home. whilst they get completely pissed at their BBQ's. They then proceed to throw their bottles around until they break, also leaving jagged tins for people to cut their feet on, and all their rubbish on the beach. Totally disgusting then they drive their cars under the influence.

Maybe a short trip beyond the end of your nose would have led you to notice the article was in a Russian newspaper?

And historically they report absolutely everything relating to Goa as a direct attack on their citizens?

Who of course would not dream of behaving in an anti-social manner whilst in Goa, perish the thought.

By the way, there is another article about their undiluted take-over of Morjim, if another ill-informed diatribe is on the cards?

Agree with what you say Noni. To quote yourself, post 5922, when I mentioned garbage at home in UK
"Perhaps those who throw litter in your garden are the uneducated ones".
Perhaps among Indian people it's the same. (The ones who have wifeys instead of wives or maybe unmarried louts)

The article appeared to be a machine translation - it wasn't worth commenting on which would have been obvious to you if you'd taken a short trip out of your own arse which you are very obviously stuck well & truly up.

I know I could on occasion be accused of the odd abrupt post but you really should drop the attitude towards the select group of "posters" that you try & "pick on" as it really does cut no ice.

Have a great day. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Thank you for the lecture.

Your attitude, language, and "conclusions" do this forum no credit.

Maybe you would be more at home on trip advisor, or TOI, where such posts seem to be popular?

Plus TA is geared towards holidaymakers..........

(edit)

But probably not stupid ones who buy property in volatile parts of the world after a short holiday?

The same can easily be said of you, if I could be bothered to think about it, I'd wonder what is your overall purpose, not to this forum, but full stop.

In respect of this forum and IM, I'm not sure I've actually ever read a 'level headed' post from you - let alone actually being positive or heaven forbid providing some genuinely useful information & doing it with good grace. It is all negative, nasty, sarcastic, acidic, picky, smug etc etc etc - even down to criticising the number of posts made by some moderator or other!

Holidays are the things taken by people aged between 18 & 65 who actually work for a living!

Just like you, I will visit any forum I choose to visit & at least I don't blatantly despise the place that the forum is relevant to - that really does defy all logic.

Throwing money away on years of rent & spending money improving a rental property appears mindlessly futile but there you go, perhaps that's what's left you so bitter & twisted - amongst other things.

Anyway, I guess as his number one 'fan boy' you are still (to quote you) "sorely missing" this forum's repeatedly banned racist bigot. . . . . . . . .

You strike me as an individual who has a lot of time on his hands - from the tiny bit I read, you should look up the practice (not the sport) of "abseiling" - it looks as though it would be 'right up your street' so to speak.

A predictable, obsessed response.

Thank you again for a further lecture.

Enjoy your little holidays in cloud cuckoo land, and although you are clearly a very busy person, take some time to read the rules of this forum, personal attacks are covered by rule one I believe?

Had you ever come close to living the life of an expat, you would understand how laughable your situation is..............

There, you see it is possible to respond without making personal insults?

No personal insults or attacks in what I said - just a case of saying what I see or is it more a case of you being allowed to say what you like whilst feeling you have the divine right to challenge & chastise others.

& let's not get started on laughable (downright side splitting) situations, you don't want to go there - something about glass houses & throwing stones.

As for being an ex-pat, I've never even pretended that applied to me - in reality there are probably less than 10 regular posters on this forum who can claim to be a true ex-pat (or as close as someone can get to being a true ex-pat in Goa).

Virgin’s re-entry to spur price war on Mumbai-London route

27 Oct: Financial Express. With UK's Virgin Atlantic re-starting its Mumbai-London services after a gap of three years, the sector is set to see an intense price war. Virgin Atlantic, which starts the service from Monday, is aiming at garnering a 20% market share, and Richard Branson, the airline's flamboyant president, already senses the price competition… The airline is aggressively pitching for opening Goa-London route … Branson said, “Goa can be done through Gatwick

Beachfront security guards to be trained in etiquette

30 Oct: Herald. After going through a tough physical regimen, Indian Reserve Battalion ( IRB) jawans will now have to learn soft skills and etiquette from the tourism department as they are deployed on the beachfront to ensure a safe tourist season… the tourism department organised a day-long Sensitization Workshop for IRB Police to impart lessons in etiquette. About 150- odd IRB personnel participated in the training…

Perhaps they should ask a few tourists what they think about these wonderful helpers and guides?
