I got married two weeks ago in my local Registry Office.Cost us £110.£40 for the license and £70 to hire the room.Local pub for reception, which cost nothing to hire as we put £500 over the bar and ordered £500 of food to keep the kids quiet. My mate did the honours for the wedding photos and every body had a great time.My wifes cousin on the other hand spent over £15,000 on hers. Wedding planner, video shoot so every body got a DVD of the occasion afterwards. It was more like a company merger than two people getting married.

Lovely! Glad you are still together & happier than ever! 1st time round, I got married in Las Vegas, thought it was for keeps, I didn't have a problem being married, OH obviously did as she f**ked off several years later!

2nd time round, got married in the UK, nice do, nothing financially outrageous & still very happy - or at least I am told I am!

Both sets of parents are still together, married only once together 50+ & 40+ years - break up of marriages & divorce etc are in my opinion a generation thing.

Happy weekend.

H.

How come a rugby player gets absolutely hammered for this type of thing - yet footballers do the same and worse every day and get no punishment or penalty whatsoever?

Seems rather inconsistent if you ask me
