Since then we have only seen excuses, such as the culprits pretending to be underage, and very recently, the accusation that the Russian translator could not be trusted as she had also recently been raped by the Goan politician, John Fernandes!

Un-bloody-believable isnt it?

Never mind the message this sends to sex-offenders, what about decent people and those with children?

India, and especially Goa, is clearly a haven for all types of criminal, as also typified by the ongoing mass-murder case. I'm sure you will recall, Manahan confessed to all these murders and is now progressively being found not guilty, also due to the laughably inefficient Indian police farce.

.

I totally agree.....i just can't believe that Central Government hasn't even tried to sort this lot out!!! How many news articles highlighting the rapes, murders, and criminal activities of the Goan police and politicians does it take before Delhi takes notice?

The Goan Government seems to be totally detached from Central Government and does'nt seem to have any accountability whatsoever!

The Tories wont do a thing but huff an puff because they are so far up the Saudis back sides because of the arms deals that Maggie won for us in the 80s. Its funny we have a go at the North Koreans about Human Rights but we say nothing to the Saudis about crucifying condemned criminals after chopping their heads off !. Murdering and torturing foreign maids.Condemning people to death for being involved in Astrology.Treating women as property. A women cannot even drive a car in Saudi Arabia or go out without a male escort. I think i would rather live in North Korea than Saudi Arabia !

Continuing the confusion over nationalities.......

http://oheraldo.in/news/Local%20News...ing/43158.html

Doesnt sound very Finnish, does he? So the Dolphin Boats persist in landing straight through the marked swimming zone and no-one does a thing about it? Presumably the Tourist Minister, good old Swampy, will announce that this "foreigner" threw himself under the boat and should be deported forthwith?

Reported in todays Herald. Harness wind energy from off-shore.India ranks amongst the top 5 countries for harnessing wind energy. They dont need to go off-shore.Just place one of the turbines outside the Tourism Department doors and the wind thats generated in that place should power most of Goa and parts of Karnatika too.
