News is leaking out that the authorities in Varanassi think there has been a bomb blast injuring several people.

How the hell can you "think" there has been a bomb blast.

Hope they are not going by appearances, as most Indian cities "look" as if there has just been a bomb blast........

This is real J5, injuries and 1 small girl killed.
If you have Sky, watch NDTV you will get up to date news. The 'Buck stops here' programme at this time PM will give enough scandal and corruption stories to keep you going for a long time.

They are following it up with another one called "Mapusa Market Monsoon".

This fragrance takes you on a soggy and stinking adventure, evoking a monsoon spent in Goa, the region known for sickening those daft enough to stay for the monsoon, with flooding, raw sewage, constant rain, power cuts, even more extortionate prices than in season......and a feeling of relaxed damp. Fragrance notes: Human excrement, Dead Animals, Rotting Vegetation, Damp Fabric, Damp leather, Damp earth, Sweat.....Prices: $4, $5, and $7 for 1 oz, 1.6 and 3.3 oz of Eau de Toilette.....................the only "Toilet Water" that originated in someones toilet!

Love,
Milwart, innit?

New visa rules affecting foreign tourist inflow to Goa
13 Dec: Times of India. India's new visa rules have begun to strangle the inflow of foreign tourists to Goa. The new visa regulations stipulate that a tourist leaving the country must compulsorily stay away for a cooling period of two months, before being allowed to return... A drastic change has been brought about as foreign tourists, in particular - the British, have restructured their holiday plans.

This is hard to believe. Can this finally be the first signs of common sense regarding the new visa rules? Whatever next!!

Can't find it on line, so will type out for you to-days opinion in the Herald.
thanks to the Herald Opinion column

VEXING VISAS

It is now very clear, from all stakeholders in the tourism trade, that India's new visa rules are hurting the inflow of foreign tourists in Goa. Inane new visa regulations stipulate that the tourist leaving the country must compulsory stay away for a cooling period of two months before being allowed to return.

While this has little or no effect on traffic to the "Golden Triangle" of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, it badly hurts Goa, which has a lot of repeat and long-term clientele, comprising foreign tourists who stay for five to six months.

The Goa government must step in to save the industry that creates close to half the state's employment. It must call a meeting of the state's MPs and plan a strategy to force the centre to amend irrational rules like this.

The buffoons running Z-o-S never cease to amaze. This season they had at last started to do someting about the hordes of sellers on the beach, with a new (hopefully less corrupt and more enthusiastic than the other creeps) tourist police farce, really optimistic responses to the new approach from all directions, then;

So how much did they bung him?
