Yes a very sad reflection on how Goa has "advanced ?" and an also sad comparison to what happened in Uganda ( Ugoanda perhaps ? :confused:)

This is a first - a Goan who actual recognises the corruptive and corrosive problems and practices in Goa, and is not afraid to speak out. Good for her I say. Most of us on here also recognise how accurate her account is as we too have encountered similar experiences of discrimatory treatment in Goa.

And she is one of their own experiencing these treatments, which just goes to show how deeply inset the greed and corruption run through the varied echelons of the Goan society and psyche.

The main article on the editorial page of the Herald, yesterday, was on the subject of medical tourism. Was it a joke, or once more a pack of lies. Same day, huge scam in the Indian Medical College. How many doctors are running around with degrees bought from the various medical colleges? Radio active waste auctioned. Cops selling ammunition. Scamland. Next it will be nuclear secrets. Scamland.
