Goa police making no efforts to contact me: Swedish model
10 May: IANS. The Goa police appears unwilling to probe a nexus between the police, politicians and the narcotics mafia, alleged Lucky Mångårda, a Swedish model whose spycam videos of a notorious Israeli drug dealer had triggered a string of arrests in Goa in March… "I have read that Goa police have problems in finding me… But no one ever had. It's very easy to get in contact with me. Specially, when they know where I live, have my phone number, email etc," Lucky has said in a recent entry (May 9) on her website thanks to www.goanvoice.org.uk. |

Well, he is going to resign when the Lib Dems have decided which party they are going to support. They are starting talks with Labour while continuing talks with the Conservatives.

Apart form the delay how was your flight with them and the service GC;)
The planes are very modern - no old clunkers on the four flights we had with them. The customer service when it came to fly home was NO star, not FIVE star - they really did not give a toss & their 'agent' at Dabolim told us "the airline's liability here is nil" The out bound flights were on time & when the return journey did go, by the time we got back to the UK, they had made up all but 10 minutes of an initial 45 minute delay from Goa  It may be obvious to state but English was obviously not the 1st language of the vast majority of the cabin crew  Communication from the captain/1st officer on all four flights was negligible  The food on offer in economy was mediocre at best  Even though drinks were "included" in economy, it felt like you needed to be accompanied by both great grand parents to get more than one drink on any of the flights - especially the Doha to UK leg. Wanting 3, 4 or 5 alcoholic drinks over the course of a 7 hour flight was akin to admitting that you could usually be found on a park bench with a 2 litre bottle of strong cider in a brown paper bag  I would use Qatar again but only if the price was very very good & only then if I could not get Thomas Cook "Premium:rofl:" seats at a reasonable price. If I can find good connection times, I'm seriously considering going via Bombay next time, but I don't want to wait for 6 hours in Bombay at midnight after getting off a 10 hour flight. H. |

As I said before, the whole thing appears to be same as/ same as, which is probably because it ! I am fairly sure that this is what was intended all along but a lot got lost 'in translation'. AndyD 8-)# |

Narcotourism 10 May: Panorama (Italy) …Today, instead of hippies on the beaches of Anjuna, Candolim and Calangute it is Russians who come to Goa to enjoy days and nights filled with LSD and drugs of every color. Along with the Russian mafia with bandanas are a few Israelis who come to Goa to avoid military service! |

Wonder what joy venture capitalist have there ? You couldn't even get a Morris Marina into Goa without jumping through hoops , a decent Apta, and a letter from God due to their forward thinking Gov and tourist board  K-C "Marmite" was the only one that had any degree of success and we know how sticky that is ! Perhaps we could drop a line to Theo to share our thoughts and experiences on how to successfully invest in India ? May I suggest the common subject matter is "Investing in India?" this way there may be a chance it gets passed his P/As if enough of us email him :fingerscrossed: this email address is off his website [email protected] K-C Spreading the word ! ( sorry Dread) |
