Re: Quarantine for COVID 19 discussions.
Apparently the EU isn't currently recognizing the Indian made AZ, of which 270,000 Canadian's have received including my first dose, I didn't get the made in EU AZ version.
This is why vaccine passports only permitting certain vaccines is stupid. One country wants these, another wants a different version, if someone has a vaccine approved by WHO that should be sufficient.

Canada considers US/EU/So. Korea/India all the same when it comes to AZ.

Re: Quarantine for COVID 19 discussions.
I intend to travel 6th/7th as fully vaccinated COPR holder (Not sure if its a good idea)
I will make Hotel booking quarantine for 14 nights/15 days just in case its required.
Take PCR test 72 hours before travelling.
I dont know why we have to wait until the 5th of July to download the new arrive can app.

Would anyone care to guess when people from the UK, fully vaxed, will be able to enter Canada for a vacation and not have to quarantine?

Hold your horses lol, vacation at this time is premature, that will not likely happen until some normalcy has returned, not with the spike in Delta variants all over.

It's most likely politics again, with their idiocy trying to cause insecurity among the people.

Re: Quarantine for COVID 19 discussions.
Because its not the 5th of July. I have a flight booked for 13th August but I am ready to fly on 11th August so why do I have to wait until 13th?

Makes sense and I am also of the opinion in order to avoid confusion , some of the airlines get things mixed up especially with the exemption on Fully vaccinated/non exempted essential travel requirements etc.
Its not so much about patience, its more of knowing in advance what sort of evidence will be required in the arrive can app if you are travelling less than 24 hours after the app release, but I guess anyone travelling so close to the release of the app is taking chances anyway.
