Rushman, either your literacy skills aren't quite up to snuff, or else you didn't have that wank I suggest.

Well, come to think of it, it's safe to assume that the wank didn't require any encouragement from me, so I'll go with the former.

By the way, after you've wiped down the drool, feel free to type "phony war" and "sitzkrieg" into a search engine, and see what you come up with.

My literacy skills are a damn site better and more accurate than that loads of complete crap you posted sunshine. One last point...anyone that can't spell "Phoney" shouldn't be complaining about other peoples literacy. What a complete dicksplash.

I've always had a great time in France, and with the French. It helps when you make an effort to speak their language.

Do you have many friends in France today? Do you keep in contact? Do you have many French letters at home?

In all seriousness this thread has surprised me. The OP said he got these comments at work. If they were said in a nasty and vindictive way, he would probably have grounds for some kind of action. I'm presuming it's a gentle ribbing which is nonetheless tiresome. Kids at school kept calling my son "Joe English", it wasn't meant unkindly but it really annoyed him. So I took it that OP just wanted a couple of good ripostes. As manc said, AJP Taylor-style analysis was not required.
