Thanks for all the kind comments guys, I can't help but think with me being two days behind sunshine (who received their email at exactly 24 weeks). Mine should be here at some point next week, even taking into account Columbus Day on Monday.

And dont worry serena I have checked my email every ten minutes today, even though it's pointless on a weekend :)

Just thought someone maybe on Saturday overtime!! LOL!

Wishful thinking eh...

Cheers, I've had a problem with the embassy and my email so a bit concerned about getting notice.

Got my email at 6pm this evening to say my passport is on its way back to me.
I sent it off on Wednesday evening last week so just under the week.
Hope you get your email soon reidy.

Very inspiring sunshine thanks, based on your timeline, Monday would be the last day for my email, (25 weeks and 3 days) that would give me a week to get passport sent and returned. Very tense times at the moment

Thanks Phil

I do have the option of putting my flight back if necessary, but would much rather get it all sorted before it comes to that

Keeping everything crossed that you get your email soon.
I was quite surprised to get the email this evening as they didn't receive my passport until Thursday morning and just checked dx and it is being delivered tomorrow so exactly a week from the email asking me to send it. I'll let you know how long the visa is for.
