I agree... people who book the trip before they have the visa are just asking for weeks or months of anxiety and frustration... and it's their own damn fault.

Passports back 12 months visa get in there!!
comments about the process.
-Take nothing for granted.
-Expect the worst at your interview I expected the best and left disappointed.
-Honesty is the best policy.
-Never travel on a visa wavier if you shouldn't.
-Plan nothing until your visa is in your hands.
-Don't be afraid to disclose your convictions.
-The process is long and strict but fair.
-Every case is judged on its merits.
-Use the contact form on the embassy website, they will and do reply.
-If 26 weeks passes with no email trawl your spam mail, trash etc. if nothing get I touch.
-Use this site every step of the way it's been an increadible help.

Just got my passport back. WOOHOO
Second visa got the same as last time 1 year multiple entries.

Good luck to everyone waiting on news xx

23 weeks and 6 days and I've recieved an email asking me to send in my passport for visa issuance... so needless to say am very happy, hope everyone waiting gets there email soon : )

It would appear my case requires a more lengthy process then the average, annoying, but what will be will be....
